Hair Care Routine: Keep your hair healthy

According to expert beauty advice hair care is a very important part that one should follow. Looking after tresses has always been a matter of concern for women. Since there are so many hair products available in the market it is a good idea to explore and find out what works best for your hair.

A few beauty tips for healthy hair are as follows:

  • Different Shampoo for different people- A thousand brands to choose from; different for different hair types; some are Indian some are foreign. However whatever you use make sure that you keep your hair clean all the time. Try and wash your hair at least thrice a week.  Use a conditioner as well after the shampoo.   • Hot oil massage- Our grandmothers’ age old formula for good hair was once a week hot oil massage. Any oil is good as far as the technique for massage is appropriate. It not only provides the required nourishment to the hair but also acts as a stress buster. So make sure that you get a head massage at least once a week.
  • Hair care products-   There are many hair care products available in the market these days. These contain chemicals and must be used only when required. In case of damaged hair avoid frequent blow drying and products which have a lot of heat content.

  • Explore your kitchen- there are many ingredients in your kitchen which can solve hair problems. Some of these are as follows:
  1. Apply lemon juice to the scalp for dandruff. Keep it for twenty minutes and then wash your hair has usual.
  2. Boil neem leaves and rinse you hair with that water to avoid any infection.
  3. Mix one ripe banana, honey and oats. Apply the mixture to your hair and leave it on for twenty minutes. Wash as usual.
  • Consume Multivitamins- Multivitamins are good for hair, skin and nails. You can buy any brand but check that it should not contain any kind of steroids.
  • Consume at least eight glasses of water and eight hours of sleep- water keeps you hydrated and good sleep ensures regularity of hormones and good blood circulation. These are two very important factors for good and healthy hair. Consume regular, healthy and home cooked meals.
  • Trim your hair- it is good to trim your hair every three months to get rid of split ends and keep your hair in perfect shape.

Maintaining tresses is not a piece of cake, besides time and effort the right kind of products make all the difference. So choose carefully!
