Summer
and skin doesn’t go along due to the lack of a perfect harmony. During summer
we sweat a lot and this lead to boils and pimples on our skin. In a nutshell,
there is sebaceous gland under the skin which helps in lubrication process by
producing oil, during summer the excessive sweating results in the
hyperactivity of this gland resulting in higher sebum or oil secretion. Factors
like heat, dust, pollen, along with oil gets bunged up on the skin forming
summer acne or pimples.
There are many treatments available at the cost of
hundreds, but let us see some home remedies equally effective as the market products.
Egg white mask: Egg white is a great option for moisturizing the skin. They are rich in protein which really helps the skin to fight the pimple. Crack two eggs and separate the yolks from albumen. Now, add two tablespoon of almond oil and one table spoon of lemon juice in to the mixture and mix them. Mask them over face for 10 minutes before washing off with warm water.
Honey pack: Honey has its reputation in cosmetic industry as late as Egyptian civilization. They have natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory activity that helps reducing the pimples. Apply honey on the spots covered with pimples and wipe them off with a wet tissue 30 minutes later. Using a lemon scrub would help in rejuvenation of skin.
Oats milk with banana: Prepare an oats meal with one cup oats and pour 250 ml milk on it. Mash a whole ripened banana into it and mix well. Apply this pack over face and wait for 20 minutes before washing with lukewarm water. This mixture is awesome as nutrient enhancer, scrubber and moisturizer. This would be one of the cheapest remedy available for taking care of summer pimples.
The peppermint magic: Put a bowl of peppermint leaves on boiling water and wait for 20 minutes. By now, the water is enriched with the great peppermint extract. Collect the water separating them from leaves, leaving behind one of the excellent natural toner for skin. This water can be used to tone the skin and help to fight itching, infection, fungal spores, acne and other problems. Use a cotton swab to spread it over the skin. You can also add cloves while boiling the water and it will add an aroma and make the toner a refreshing one.
